I've got this website as example
kaya.es/es/241-abono-crecimiento

If you check bellow the price you have that selectbox with different characteristics of the product and the price is changed in real-time.

So, my question is:
Can I do the same on the Hikashop Business?

I've checked and I can create different custom fields for each product, but still can I create a different price for each value on the field?

If you've already used PrestaShop you know what I'm talking about. I really can't understand why I can't create different prices for each characteristic of the product.
So, you mean if I got the same design on the same product but with 2 different materials (white t-shirt and leather t-shirt)
why it will be the same price for both materials?

I don't want to have 2 products for each material, don't you think?

I actually need this for a product where you can have "1L, 2L, 4L, 10L" as choice, but still doesn't change the price... you can do that only on the order amount.

Thanks in advanced for any help,
Ventaka

Hello,

I think that you'll just have to :
- Create a caracteristic named volume for example
- Create variants of your product
- Manage every variants of your product and set different price for every variant

Hi Mohamed,

Tshh, I really couldn't figure it out, I guess Hikashop sometimes is just to messy!

But I got your point and I've done a quick try and I guess it was what I was looking for!

Thank you very much!

Now I've got a strange problem on the listing of categories/products by Hikashop.

For instance, www.cognoscitiva-pt.com/shop/index.php?o...t=listing&Itemid=163
If you click on "Ruck" on the leftmenu you got the link right, like "option=com_hikashop&view=product",
but on if you click on the "Ruck" link on the right (gerated by hikashop) it gives me "com_hikashop&ctrl=category" and I've choosen on hika's Admin "Type of content: Product"... Any idea about this?

And for the last, I really don't understand the "related-products module"...
I was looking for the body classes but hikashop doesn't add any... I just want show that module only on the product layout.

Sorry for the big shout and thanks again!

Hi,

The link on the left is a joomla menu item of the type hikashop product listing.
The link on the main area is generated from a hikashop category listing which comes from a joomla menu item of the type hikashop category listing.
So that's totally normal that the links are different.

If you add your related module in the "modules under the product page" option of the Display tab of the configuration and keep the module unpublished, it will display properly.
That's explained in the documentation related to related products:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...ct-form.html#related
