Multiple Shops on One site

Is it possible to have two completely separate shops running on the same site? Say a frozen foods shop and a fresh foods shop without having to stuff around with subdoamins and different installs of Joomla?

I don't think that it's posible but you can maybe make 2 main category for each shop and for example make sub-categories .

What I am trying to achieve is one group of my products, ie the frozen foods only shippable by my custom shipping module for frozen stuff, and my long life goods to be shipped only by my other shipping method, but this is not possible without setting a really high weight for the frozen foods so that they are not applicable to australia post, however then there is a stupid message that says that the postage method is not applicable cause the combined weight of the shopping cart is to high, even thought the custom shipping module is available. So I thought I could get around this by having one shop for frozen stuff (frozen shipping method) and one for long life (australia post) on separate hikashops so that the shipping methods dont conflict. However having said that it is to complicated and annoying to have to have it on a sub domain with a second installation of Joomla. Any suggestions.
