That will require the development of a hikashop shipping plugin. So you need to find a developer for that.
We have documentation about shipping plugins (and other plugins) here:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...r-documentation.html
Also, he would be able to use the structure of the code of the existing plugins as basis for that plugin.

From my experience Star Track Express has:

- individual rates for each client
- multiple zones per post-code
- volumetric weight calculation

I have automatic calculations working for Magento but only just started with Hikashop.

How much interest is there in this? I would be will to contribute.

I have been in discussion with Star Track for a client and they has e-service linking to their rates (individual and group)

I have sent the above link to them but wanted to gauge interest and steps in getting a developer to do it.

Hi Sambob,

Can you link me to information about the e-service? I am only aware of an online form where people can manually look up rates.

I have not seen anything about programatically looking up rates ... I guess it could be scraped?

Hi Dorgo,

Here is the link (you need to contact them for the info pack)

I had a chat with them this morning - while the person I spoke to said they were keen, they say (at this stage) they would come to the party with regards to its development via Hikashop. More than will to have someone else dev the app though :)

I am looking at using StarTrack as a shipping option as they take larger packages that AusPost. Did anyone ever find/hire someone to develop a plugin for StarTrack?

Hi crowcreekc,

I am using their rates but only as zonal ranges as they we totally unwilling to help in developing a plugin.

So, via some nifty spreadsheet formula's I was able to extract metro and non metro for each state with an averaged freight value.

Working fine and not losing anything noticeable on the averaged rate.
