Hi all
I configured my online store with Hikashop and everything is ready.when i try to change the hikashop menu items alias it doesn't work in the front end:
my view all category
as you see it says:hikashop-menu-for-module-107 although i changed it to :View-all-products
Would you tell me how to fix this problem? :)
Thanks

Hi,

If you changed it in your menu and you don't see the change, it means that your SEF system is caching the URL rewriting.
What SEF system are you using ? Could you clear its cache ?

Are you using a third party SEF system like sh404SEF ? If yes, try to clear its cache, or turn off sh404SEF.

Could you go in the joomla menu manager and edit the menu with the id 135 and do a screenshot of that screen ?

Please turn off all the cache in Joomla:
Disable the cache in Joomla configuration.
Site -> global configuration -> system -> "Cache settings".
Disable, if it's enabled, a joomla cache plugin.
Check your template' options for a potential cache option and deactivate it.

That should help I think.

Hi Nicolas
I already turned off all cashing in Joomla, besides I designed my own template so it doesn't have cashing option.
Is it possible that my hosting server has problem or it has some extra security that prevents SEF works correctly?

No it's not a server side issue.

I've found several threads about such errors on the joomla forum (so it's not because it's a hikashop menu item and you should have the same problem with any other menu item actually), but no solutions.
The simplest will be to delete the menu and recreate it with the correct alias.
