Suppressing the 'Choose Options' button

Hi,

I am using the Hagane template.

When the user selects a product category from the main menu they are presented with 4 products.
When they select one of these an actual product checkout page is then displayed.

I don't need the 'Choose Options' button, as the user will select the product variation on the next page.
How to I suppress the 'Choose Options' button display, or if I can't, move it down a little?
I would like to present this page with two columns (not 3), but I cannot find anywhere to do this?

Thanks.

Go in your products listing module's hikashop options (via the menu Display->Content modules) and turn off the "show add to cart button" option.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for the information.
However nothing happened.
I think I changed the correct module, but the 'HikaShop Content Module' is not even published in my set-up.

Thanks.

I also had a Content Module called 'Associated products listing for category listing menu 123' which I don't remember creating.
When I set the 'Add to cart' to 'No' here, that did the trick.
It doesn't seem to matter if this module is published or not.

Can I rename this module to something more meaningful?

There was an original second question please:
I would like to present this page with two columns (not 3), but I cannot find anywhere to do this?

Any ideas please?

Thanks.

I had that same problem 2 days ago and I see the solution
go to menu manager - edit that category menu
1. select hikashop options
2. after that look for the associated modules~ the one with click here to access the display options etc..
click that to epen.
3.the nu3.png is the setting i'm using I think I set the add to cart button to - NO

then save refresh page to see changes hope it works for you i'm using hikashop business edition

Hi Yuji,

Thanks for the info.
I think we both got to the same solution by changing 'Associated products listing for category listing menu 123'.
It seems this is a HikaShop generated item?

I am still having problems changing my 3 columns to 2.
Using FireBug I can change the width (see screen shot below) from 32% to 48% and remove the first '<div style="clear:both></div>' to achieve what I want, but I cannot find which .php file generates this, so that I can permanently change it.

Thanks.

Hi,

You don't need to do that via the code.
You can just change the "number of columns" option from 3 to 2 in the options of your menu/module as Yuji explained.
Looking at your HTML, you need to edit the module with the id 98 via the menu Display->Content modules and change the "number of columns" option there.

Hi Nicolas,

I think I may have set up my website incorrectly, as I can't get access to anything with an ID of 98.

From my main menu I have Categories Listing item (ID 123) called 'Select your Prints', which yes I can change the number of columns.
However this page needs to stay at 3.

From 'Select your Prints' the user can pick one of three items (each containing 4 products), say they pick '594mm x 420mm' (ID 98 perhaps?), and it is this page I want to change to 3 columns from 4, but there seems no option to do this.

Thanks.

Can you do a screenshot of your Display->Content modules menu and give a link to that page so that we can see that ?

Hi Nicolas,

I don't know how you do it, but when I was in the process of producing a Display->Content modules screenshot there was ID 98, so I have managed to fix it myself.

Also unfortunately as my site is not yet live, it only exists under WampServer.

Many thanks all the same.
