Hi Nicolas,
Yes, you are right. Zero is indeed too harsh. But being able to attach just one product or one category to a coupon is not very handy. What if I have 15 categories that I want to attach to a coupon and 130 categories not? Or just 20 products from one category? Or generate a coupon for a customer that bought a product and give discount for related products? Or a combination of these?
Is there a way to change this?
Do you know AWO coupon?
I have worked with AWOCoupon during the times I had Virtuemart. Virtuemart is getting worse every upgrade. That's why I dropped it and moved to Hika.
However, AWO Coupon (Virtuemart extension) is great, but they don't have it for Hikashop.
The setup is slightly different, yet simple. Generate a coupon and you have:
- a select field to choose users or a user for whom the coupon is valid.
- a select field to choose products (ending up in a comma separated string of article id's) for what the couponis valid for.
- a select field to choose categories (also ending up in a comma separated string of category id's) for what the couponis valid for.
Kind regards,
Maurice
