Hi All,

I have created some products for testing Hikashop functionalities before taking it live. My problem is, I have created 3 price categories for products with increasing minimal values and of course decreasing prices. Now, I would like to delete, and keep only one price ( a global price for all purchased quantities) but cannot find how to delete ( like at images, haveing the trash icon..)

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You'll just have to go to your product page and in the price tab you'll be able to delete 2 of your 3 prices through the "trash" icon.
Hope this will help you.

There is indeed no trash icon. That's normal.
Just set a price of 0 and save and the price will be removed.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks, it works like a charm!!
One of my friends asked could he adopt hikashop selling stone products like granite countertops where the price is based on the material thickness, the length and the width. User could choose the kind of material, the material thickness (usually predefined, 2,3, etc in cm.) and also inputs a number for length like 256 cm and gets a value from the system as price estimation. As an advanced feature, could be the checkout process simplyfied as " One page checkout" where user chooses an adress, like billing address, but here as "address where the countertop will be assembled" because itt affects the price of delivery and installation, and gets complete price estimation on the fly?
Excuse me cause I posted this here, I should post as new in ...How to section.

Thank for your great support,
at now we find that it was a good idea to purchase the business version of your ecommerce solution.
Regards,
FG, Hungary

Hi,

The predefined dropdown selection can be done easily with characteristics:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...html#characteristics

If you want the user to enter himself the length, it will require the use of a custom field of the table "item". However, since you want that the price vary based on the length entered, you will want to use such plugin:
www.hikashop.com/en/forum/2-general-talk...w-feature.html#24390
You can use it like that since the column name is never displayed to the user but only the field name.
