Hello,

A clientof my creates images based on a template and an upload. The visitor of the website chooses a template (order) and upload also an image. The client makes his product, an new image is the product for visitor. Want to put an download link to the order, so when the payment is done we can 'ship' the product. Is this possib le in HikaShop. And if, can you give som directions how to implement it?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi POAWeR,

If I understand well, what you need is a link in the order to download the template when it has been bought ?

This fonctionality already exists in HikaShop, when you create a product, add a file to this product, for example the .zip file of your template.
You can then configure it to be downloaded only if the product was bought.

Hello Xavier,

Thank you for your response.
If it were standard products than you are right.
Based on a choosen template and uploaded image an new image will be created. This new image is a product only for the customer who uploaded the image.
I would like to give a download link back to this customer back via the 'ship' status. Other customers will not see this new image in the shop.
Is this possible??

Hi,

If you create a custom field of the table "order" and the type "text" via the menu Display->Custom fields you will be able to add a URL to the order on the order edition page.
Then, when you change the status of the order to shipped and activate the user notification, your user will get the notification email with that link directly in the email.

Thank you Nicolas.

I found it, only I can only add custom fields to the Address table. See in the Help that is possible to add to the tables you want.
Ta add custom fields to other tables than only the address table is a feature of the commercial versions and not in the free version.
Trying to find out which e-commerce store is suitable for my client to work with; Looking for 'ligth'weight component and easy configure. Hikashop looks like a potential candidate.

Indeed, to do that you will need the Business edition.

You can try for yourself what I said on our demo website. You will have access to both the backend and the frontend there.
