Option listed a separate item in Cart!

Hello

I have set up a product with some characteristics, which is fine as I want the price and photo to update as per client selections.

However, I wanted to add a Product Option (like RAM + £25 for example) as a global option to the main product, and avoid the huge
amount of work adding multiple characteristics and prices again.

The issue now is when a buyers adds a product to the cart, it lists the Option as a Separate item, not attached to that product (so RAMis separate to the main product).

This is going to confuse the order and payments if a client buys 2 main products, and has an option selected on each. The factory
won't know which product has which option attached to it.

Is there a fix for this?
