Hitting back button with multiple product pages

Hi all,
I have a product page that i set to 15 products. Since i have more than 15 products in my inventory, the page displays a little menu at the bottom of the page for the user to click on page 2,3, etc. This is great. However, when the user clicks on page 2, then clicks the back button on the browser, the previous page is not displayed. An error comes up saying it does not exist.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks much.

Hi,

It's normal that you stay on the same page if you hit previous in your browser.
We don't have any error when we do that though on our end.
What is the error ? Could you do a screenshot maybe ?

Hi Nicolas, thanks for looking at my problem.
I have attached 3 screen shots. The first shows the bottom of my product listing page with me on page 2 of 3. If i hit the "next" button, it will go to page 3. Now if next i hit the "Back" button on my chrome browser, i get the following 2 errors. Thanks so much for the help.

Well, that's not an error message.
It's just your browser telling you that the data will be resubmitted to the website (the fact that you clicked on the button of the pagination in order to go to another page of the listing).

Thanks for the reply Nicolas. How come my browser does not give that warning on other people's websites that has the same pagination feature. An example would be the zales website, i can click any page and click my back button and chrome does not give me the same warning.

That's because they are not doing the pagination in the same way the joomla library does and that we're using the joomla library in order to handle that.
