Add to cart from article without login redirect

Hi there,

I know this has been asked before but am rather new to this and am still none the wiser.
From a Joomla article (not from a shop product listing) I would like to add a product to the minicart and stay on the same page, without being redirected to login. With your latest Hikashop release, it is fantastic we can show product price/add to cart in an article.

However, is there any way I can get the user to stay on the article once they click 'Add to cart' without being redirected to login? I have made sure that "After a product is added to the cart" you "Always stay on same page" - but I guess that is only working for the online shop (not possible from within an article).

Hi boopoo,

Yes it's possible, you have to go in HikaShop > Configuration > Checkout, and for the option "After a product is added to the cart" select "Stay and display a popup notice".
And check yes for: "Use AJAX when possible for add to cart buttons".

By this way, when you add a product to cart, a popup will display and if the customer click on "continue shopping" he will stay on the same page.
