Hi,

I have setup my HikaShop under one of Joomla's menues called shop and located in the folder shop:
www.mywebsite.com/shop/

I have set up a category list module and published it on several pages.
The module successfully listed all the categories. However, the links to thos categories are wrong!

For example, one of links points to path "/category/12-motobloki-i-motokultivatory". The correct path however is: "/shop/category/12-motobloki-i-motokultivatory".

Would you kindly suggest how can I add the root folder in front of the path to make it correct?

The settings of my module are:

Hello,

You can maybe :

- Go to "Hikashop->System->Configuration->main->SEF url options"
- Set the "Activate smaller url" option to yes
- Set the "Category SEF name" field to shop/category

Hope this will help you.

Hi Mohamed,

Thanks, that helped. Now the Category Tree list is correct.

However, this brough another issue:
Now when I try to access any category from shop's category view, it leads me to something like "/shop/shop/category/34-motokosy".

Do you know a cure for that?

Thanks.

Hi,

I just checked your website and I was able to see the "shop" text at the beginning of the URLs and couldn't see the double "shop" in your URLs.

Did I miss something or did you found the problem already ?

Hi Mohamed,

I have reverted my settings back, otherwise it was impossible to keep building the site.

The issue is not resolved. I am stuck with it.

Wait, you wanted to have the "shop" text at the beginning of the URLs, right ?
When we checked 2 days ago, that's actually how it was.

So I don't understand.

What did you revert ? What do you want to do ?

Hi Nicolas,

Sorry for confusion, but please refer to my first message in this thread.
My HikaShop is located in folder shop (the location is actually assigned by Joomla through menu link).

It is Ok for me that it is located in that folder.

However, when I try to show module with category trees, it makes incorrect links to product categories.

For example:
Correct Link: heat.com.ua/ shop/category/12-motobloki-i-motokultivatory
Incorrect Link: heat.com.ua/category/12-motobloki-i-motokultivatory

Miohamed recommended me to add "/shop" in HikaShop's configuration. That has cured category tree module. The links in that module were corrected. However, all other links were broken and they started to lead to something like heat.com.ua /shop/shop/category/12-motobloki-i-motokultivatory

Therefore, I have reverted this setting back to the original.
Now I again have working HikaShop but category tree module refers to incorrect pages.

Do you have any ideas?

If you need a backend access, let me know, I will PM it to you.

Hi,

You simply need to select your "shop" menu item in the "menu" option of the hikashop options screen of your module in order to do that.

Hi Nicolas,

That really works! Thanks a lot for the support. I was not attentive enough, though I spent lot of time searching for solution of this issue.
By the way, is it possible to extend search field of this forum from 20 symbols to something longer. Often, when I search for a specific solution, I can't do that because of strong limitation of 20 symbols. Thus my search output is too long and not relevant.

Regards,

Hi,

You should use the google search prefixed with hikashop. I usually use that to search on the forum.
I don't think that kunena has any option to change the length of that field. At least I couldn't find such option.
