I do not see the option in product listing menu.

I set the maximum items to be less then there are, but tehn it just showed me that many items and no pagination.

How do i start pagination?

You are probably editing the wrong module.
Find the module or menu which display your product listing and set a maximum number of product to display ("Number of items" field).
The pagination should appears automatically.

I am editing the right module.

The one I am editing now is "featured", meaning it's an unpublished category.

I tried the same with another category (normal category, you click the category name and go to products page) and pagination WORKS there.

I guess the issue is the unpublished category. Would it be possible to have pagination for unpublished cats as well?

Unpublished category cannot display so you're probably editing either the menu instead of the module or maybe the global configuration.
Could you please send me a screenshot of both your module and menu's parameters? Plus a link to your listing.

Hey Eliot, thanks for taking the time.

I think you do not understand me.

I have many categories inside "Product category", and one of those is not published and is called featured, and it holds my featured stuff.

I think you might mean that category container cannot be unpublished and still display (such as product category), but categories inside of it can surely be displayed when unpublished, by making a new content module and assigning that category to it, otherwise how would someone make a featured section?

I will hopefully have this website online in a couple of days, I will post the link and pm you admin pass then.

Thanks again!

Content modules don't have any pagination. Only menus do. Wouldn't it be why you don't get pagination ?

I guess it would.

So there is no way to get pagination for content modules? Is that something to be added in the future?

There is no way. If you use the carousel system, you can get something close to pagination as you will have several slides and the user will be able to change from one slide to the other.

But why not use a menu ?

I do not understand actually what you mean by menu.

I have a content module "Assosicated product listing for ILLUS" that lists products from all categories from that category container and when I change the number of items there, I get pagination, but when I change the content module that is set to list products for one category only it does not show pagination.

I do not understand how to set that up to be a menu?

Basically, how would I get a featured section with pagination, if not by making a content module for that one category?

You could make a menu item instead of a module:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...d.html#products_menu

That would get you the pagination.

Also, if you create a products listing module and that you activate and configure the carousel settings of the module, you should be able to have pagination. We have some documentation on carousel settings here:
