Delete-able Filter Field problem

Hi Nicolas,

I'm having a bit of an issue with a delete-able field in my library. Basically, when you enter some text into the field, the first letter remains before the cross (see attached). Also, it is possible to change the cross graphic for something else?

Well it's a strange bug.
Are you using the last version of Hikashop? Did you try to configure a new similar filter?

it's 1.5.5 - if i upgrade, will I loose anything, I've done some serious customisation?

It's a known bug of this old version. The problem is solved for now.
If you edited your views through the Hikashop editor, customizations are saved and upgrading should not affect it.
However, if you are afraid about this upgrade, you can also try to download the last version of Hikashop get the file filter.php in back/classes and try to use it instead of your current filter.php (administrator\components\com_hikashop\classes). Success is not guaranteed since the component evolved a lot but it may works.

BE CAREFUL! In order to avoid any problem, I suggest you to make a copy of the old file if you want to try the file switching.
Same thing if you want to upgrade, make a save of your whole website to avoid any disappointment.

You can put another image instead of this one in the folder media\com_hikashop\images.
Just rename the icon delete2.png in delete2_old.png and rename your new icon delete2.png
However this image is used in on other part of Hikashop so it will change the icon everywhere.
