Hi,

i would like to understand something about product image and size setup.
i setup in:
- Configuration > System > File Image > Images > Image width = 800 px
- Configuration > System > File Image > Images > Image height = 600 px

i have a picture of 888 x 666 so same ratio as 800 x 600 (1.3333 as ratio).

1. why after uploading the 888 x 666 picture in the system, is the size of picture (in lightbox) on product detail page only 685 x514 px (a little bit different ratio) ?
2. why is the component not showing the original file with size 800 x 600 ?

thx

PS: everything is on local development machine, so don't ask access.

Hi,

It's working fine for us.

However, if you have a small screen, the popup system might not be able to display the image in full size 800*600 and will display it to fit the page area in your browser.

Being able to see that directly on the website would indeed have helped as we would have been able to confirm that or see the path of the image, the URL of the link, etc.

Hi Nicolas,

i reload the same image and next time i show image in popup it was ok.
i switched to another product detail and i came back to first product detail and once again i had this strange behavior so image resolution: 685 x514 px.

my screen is HD 1920 x 1080 so no reason to reduce it to small screen monitor :(

I've never seen that.

Let us know when you can put that online so that we can see the problem.
