Hi,

Do you mean filters in the products listing page ?

If yes, you can add filters in HikaShop > Display > Filters, and create a new one. You can apply it on some categories, and choose the type of filter you want.
You can find some documentation here:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...-filter-listing.html

Hi xrumchik,

First you need custom fields on the item type.

Then in you menu configuration (Hikashop > Display > Content menus), check "yes" for the option "Display custom item fields"

Hi,

You created custom fields of the table "product".
As Xavier said, you need to created instead custom fields of the table "item".
That's why you're not seeing them as input fields.

I need exactly the same fields. How did you do them? I guess you added some custom fields but which parameters did you chose for this kind of fields?

Thanks,
Alex

You need to select "product" in the "table" option of your custom fields.
That option is only available in the Essential and the Business edition.

Thanks for the fast reply. I have tried it already. I created a new custom field and selected "product" under the table options and "custom text" under field type. But regardless of what I typed in, it only showed the word "specifications" on my product page. Which field type do you recommend to type in some additional product information which will be displayed in the shopping cart area of the product page?

And do you have an idea where to change the color of the information button which can be used to explain customer the different options/characteristics? The small blue button with labeled with an "i". Like the buttons on this page demo.hikashop.com/index.php?option=com_h...ow&Itemid=91&lang=en

Thanks a lot,
Alex

You need to enter some text in your product's custom field in order to see it on the product page.

For the info image, you can change it by uploading a new one in FTP over this file media/com_hikashop/images/icons/icon-16-info.png

I entered one sample at Hika demo back end (its the one with product table). Same as on my website. I dont see the text on the products page only the word specifikations.
Any idea what I did wrong?

It's working fine as far as I can see.

Are you sure that you have the "front end" option of your custom field turned on ?

You created a custom field of the type "custom text". These fields allows you to display messages on the input form.
So for custom fields of the table "form" that field will display the text on the product edition page, not on the product page.
You should create a custom field of the type "text" if you want to enter information on the product and that it displays it on the product page.

It works now with selecting "item" instead of product. With product its still the same problem. What is the difference?

Custom fields of the table "product" are for you to enter information on the product edition page.
Custom fields of the table "item" are for the user to enter information on the product page.
