Hi,

Brands are working like categories.

For this filter, the best way will be to create a new custom field called "Brands" and apply it on the table "product".
Then create the filter on this custom field.

Hope this will help you.

Oups, my mistake.

Your configuration was good, you just have to set your products categories instead of "manufacturer" for the "category" parameter in the filter configuration.

In your product edition page, do you assign a brand to the product ?

The problem is that in the "menu" option of your filter module, you should enter the id of a products listing menu which displays all the products of your website.

Filters can be created via the menu Display->Filters in the Business edition.

Yes, you can remove that.

The one at the bottom is a hikashop filter module. If you unpublish it, it won't display.
For the one at the top of the products listing, you can do as explained in the documentation of the filters:

On the other end, if you want to hide the filters on the main area of your page and only display the filters via the module, you can add such CSS (replace the X by the id of your menu) in the front end CSS file of HikaShop via the Display tab of the configuration :
#hikashop_category_information_menu_X .hikashop_filter_main_div{ display:none; }

the bottom however is not a single filter module...they are unstyled versions of the 2 filters on the left side of the page.

any ideas...?

thanks

Go in the menu Display->Content menus, edit the file with the id 108 and disable the module with the id 88 in the "associated modules" option and that should solve the problem.

In the mean time, you have created a new menu. It's now the menu with the id 109 where you need to disable the module with the id 89 in the "associated modules" option and that should solve the problem.
If you look at the HTML of the page, you can see these in the attributes of the HTML tags.
