Default order status showing "None"

My "created" status has been renamed to "reservation request".

When a customer places a new order, the default order status is going to "None" instead of "reservation request". If an order is created in the back end it is correctly going to "reservation request".

How can I fix it so that a newly created order by a customer defaults to "reservation request"?

In Configuration...System...statuses...

I have the first item as "reservation request" as id#1, in the first position, where the words "created" used to be, and it is published.

In Configuration....Main....

for "Default order status" it says "reservation request".

Hi jrod,

The best way to rename the order statuses is to do a translation override.

In configuration > system > statuses, set back the default value, because if you change the name here, you have to change it in so many other place.
And go in HikaShop > Configuration > Languages, edit your language and replace "created" by "reservation request".
