Require File Upload for each item?

My shop will be printing and will require the user to upload files they want on the product. Just want to check that Business Edition is what I have to get?

Right now I am using starter to get everything else into place first and also to learn Hikashop. I am sure there are other reasons to get Essential or Business, but in terms of need this is the only one I have run into yet. I have liked the service on the forums even with me not being a paid customer yet.

Glad to see that you like our product so far . As you thought, uploading a file for each product is definitely possible thanks to the custom fields.
As Nicolas said in the other topic you have to create a custom field of type "file" and applied on the table "item". If you want to check this out do not hesitate to go on the demo website to test it by yourself.
Custom fields of type item are available in the Business version of Hikashop and you can look at the features list to see the other features of this version.
