Order Confirmation Email to Administrator

We are not receiving order cornfirmation from HikaShop when we test a customer order.

All other emails are working fine - to customer and admin.

I have checked previous post:

And can confirm that we have in System > Configuration > Email added all relevant email addresses.

Your answer to the previous post stated:

"It could be that you unpublished the order admin notification email via the menu System->Emails or that you configured it in a way that doesn't work.".

I cannot see any reference to this in the System > Configuration > Email screen.

Using Starter but also checked Demo HikaShop.

Does your answer refer to System > Emails?

I can see Order Administration Notification here.

Can you confirm that it is only after upgrade to Business edition that the Administrator can receive this email in the order process?

Hi,

The admin notification email will work even in the starter edition.
The menu to configure emails is however only available in the Business edition, but the email is activated by default, like all the other emails.

Please check with your hosting company that the fact that the email has the same sender and receiver is not a problem. Also, filling the bounce email could result in problems on some email servers.
Otherwise, you should try to change the "Order creation notifications email address" option of the configuration. That might help avoid the such email server issues.

Sorted. The customer's mistake was to mis-spell their complex email address!

Aaaargh!

Thanks for the excellent support - thanks to which the customer is now using HikaShop Business!
