have pinterest pin it button in shop?

Hi,

I am trying to work out how to have a "pin it" button in my shop to sit along the facebook, twitter and google + share buttons

Does anyone know how to do this??

It's under development for the social network plugin.
Actually the code for the button itself is already working but we have to deal with the css in order to make everything looking good which is quite hard considering th number of possible display.

If you feel comfortable with css I can give you the plugin including pinterest button but you'll have to add some css to display it nicely

I finally finished this plugin. everything looks good, I hope you'll enjoy it!
Just put the file in the folder plugins\content and replace the old one.
then replace your css file with the given one or just replace the modifications for with the mention "hikashop_social" in it if you don't want to loose your customizations.

thank you again for sending through the pinterest plug ins. My web designer installed it today and it doesnt seem to have added any of the buttons?
Should it automatically be putting the pin it button on shopping cart beside the facebook and twitter ones?

Do you have any more instructions for how he should be installing it?

Yay! I was so happy to find this thread! Thrilled to be able to add the pin it button.. however I followed the steps.. for the css I just copied and pasted the file you provided and I ended up with kind of a mess
I don't know what I did!! lol please help!

I have had the same problem, all of the twitter, facebook and goole+ buttons have now gone everywhere!

It seems I forget a small thing to avoid that kind of problem...

Thank-you! I tried to install it.. Extensions upload and got this error JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

I tried this.. and it still shows all wonky! I don't know what else to try..
I had numerous folders in the temp directory with the social plugin.. I cleaned it all out, uninstalled and then tried a fresh re install both with the extention manager as well as ftp and now I can't even get it to show at all... any other suggestions? Can I just have you do it for me? lol

Sorry, it's my fault.

I just gave you the php file since I didn't make any modification to the xml.
Since I don't have the given file right now here are two solutions:
1 - Install the first file I gave you and then replace the php file in plugin/content
2 - Unzip the two files and make a new zip with the xml file of the first package and the php file of the second one. YOu should be able to install this package

Hi again eliot- we are still having issues with the plugin, it has made a whole lot of the text in the shop turn into a link and all of the facebook etc. tabs are all over the page... do you have any solutions/ suggestions??
