Options and characterisitics on an order.

Hi Guys,

I've got a shop with a set of products. with both options and a couple of characteristics.

eg.

French Patio doors. The option is for the opening. I have set up a product called opening whihc has two characterisitics - "open in", "open out" (the default).
I want to force the order to take "open out" as an option unless "open in" is selected.

I also want the option to be shown on the order confirmation. At the moment it use shows the oproduct item - "Opening" without the characterisitic of "in" or "Out".

I tried to add all of the "options" as Characteristics but the shop stop working because of the number of variations.

Hi Nicolas,

I set up a part that has an option. The option products has two variants.

The order email is attacheded below. I have processed two of them. The first is if there is no selection ie the standard is the choice made. The second is where I have made the choices.
