Hi,

Yes, it's possible with the "dynamic filter" option of the filters of HikaShop:

I guess.
The filters will be displayed as one module, but you can probably style them enough to look like several modules if you're skilled enough in CSS.

You can see a really basic HikaShop filter module at the bottom of the demo website:

i'm quite sure you need the business edition of hikashop to get access to the module for filtering.

That's not difficult really.

Create a new filter of the type list and apply on on the characteristic/custom product field on which you want to filter, publish it and save.

Once you have all your filters created like that, publish the HikaShop filter Module on the left position and enter the id of your products listing menu in the "menu" option of the module.

As explained in the documentation, you will probably want to remove the filters displayed at the top of the products listing with a line of CSS.

That's it.

If you have troubles, please do screenshots of your filters/module options and give a link to the page so that we can see that.

it would be good to have proper examples of how to setup filters. the current documentation is extremely difficult to understand and doesnt really explain how to setup different scenarios.

can you also do an example of a clothes shop and some general filters (with screenshots) of setting up filters for that.

Hi Nicolas,
Hope you are well. :-)

Trying to create a customers site...

I'm having a problem getting the filters working, have created a filter, have set the hikashop filter module to the ID of the default products listing, and set the filter for it to use...when a value is entered in the filter and the enter key pressed, it just doesn't seem to go anywhere...any ideas, all the modules etc are published...

version 2.0 of Hikashop Business on the latest version of joomla...2.5.7

Many Thanks

Ian
