Hello,

We had a customer checkout without the added shipping charge because their address didn't validate with USPS. The customer entered the wrong zip code and they were warned via a message in blue at the top of the page that the address could not be validated. Instead of forcing the customer to enter the appropriate zip code they were given a checkout button. They promptly checked out and were not charged shipping. Is there some way I can change this?

Thanks,

Dawn

Hi,

Do you have any other shipping method available ?

Because if no shipping methods are found, the system won't let you finish the checkout. No one reported any issue on that so far.

Hello,

Here is the error message upon entering the wrong zip code:

USPS error: -2147219401 Error Information: The Destination ZIP Code you have entered is invalid.
Failed to obtain shipping quotes.

And here is a screenshot to show that the customer can still checkout:

Please make sure that you have the 'shipping' view in your "checkout workflow" option of the configuration.

Yes,

The shipping tab has always been in place in the checkout workflow: screencast.com/t/CHRFB6iH8 so this doesn't seem to be the issue unless it's in the wrong order?

Best,

Dawn

I tried on your website but I'm not able to finish the checkout when the ZIP code is wrong. It forces me to correct the address.

Are you able to reproduce the issue on your website ?
Could you give step by step to reproduce it ?
