Product Characteristics not changin images

Please help,
We have a product on our website that has 2 colour characteristics:
Black
Mushroom

When the product loads:

The default image is the black one.
BUT
When the user selects 'MUSHROOM' from the drop down the images are not changing.
Please can you tell us why/how this should happen.

Are you sure you well configured a picture for your variant? Could you give us a screenshot of your variant configuration?
Also, it sounds like something we fixed (we had few issues with picture for 1.6 release) so I wonder if you have the very last version of Hikashop. Updating may fix the problem (if there is a real problem and not simply a configuration issue).

I want to see the images of the variant. You have to click on "manage variant" and you'll be able to manage every variant as a product.
This is where you have to add your images

I clicked on 'Manage Variants'.

My path is:

Product > (Characteristics) Manage Variants > Each product variant is displayed and then I click into each product and the images are different then the main default product.

Please help?

I'm having the problem of the images not showing when I change the characteristics. Running HikaShop 2.0 Business and have made no modifications to the code.

I click on the product, the default characteristic shows up with the image for that variant. I select one of the other variants and the image is blank (though you can click on the space where the image would be and it will open the lightbox and display the correct image) and then when I go back to the original variant (the one that loaded on the page first) it's blank too!

The opacity of the variant image is set to 0. I think that there is a conflict with your template.
Try to remove the opacity properties on the pictures.

Is that a setting in HikaShop or a way I should save the images out of photoshop?

It's not photoshop related, it's a css property.

Your template seems to be the cause of this problem, try to add the following css property:

.s5_lazyload{ opacity: 1 !important;}
