I have a potential new client I am looking to secure a web redevelopment project for. Their existing website (in ASP.NET) has a "store" which allows their site visitors to select items into a "cart" and submit that cart in order to receive a quote. I can do this with HikaShop. However, they also have a "configurator" that allows their visitors to create a custom product and product code, which can also be added to their "cart". The code for this configurator is written in JS, and I believe I can integrate it into a Joomla website. Once a product is configured, there would be a link to add the custom product and code to the shopping cart. Is there a way I could utilize HikaShop for this cart, assuming I will also need to pass custom products and codes into that cart from the configurator?

Hi,

What I would do in your case is to create a dummy product with custom item fields. Then you can redirect the user to an add to cart url to add the dummy product in the cart with all the custom item fields filled by the parameters of the URL:
www.hikashop.com/en/forum/2-general-talk...-product-fields.html

If you need to also pass the price of the product, then I would recommend to use the donation plugin in order to set the price based on an "amount" custom item field:
demo.hikashop.com/index.php?option=com_h...show&cid=214&lang=en
