I am setting up an entry form and I have used custom fields like in the documentation.

When associating a product with a field it seems that you can only add one product.

For example:

Sunday Lunch - select yes or no - if yes is selected the sunday lunch is added as a product.

I want to add multiple products to a multiple selection eg:

Lunch - choose Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu - if mon selected then 'monday lunch' is added, if Tue is selected then 'Tuesday lunch' is added as a product.

Can't seem to do this - any help appreicated

Hi roojai,

The easiest way is to create a new category, and limit the custom field to this category, then add this category to each products where this custom field is needed.

Can you please go a little more in depth? I have the same problem. I'm allowing guests to sign up for an activity on a certain day. They have a choice between Spa and Golf. The Spa product also has a few variants. Spa and Golf have been assigned to the category Thursday. I have an entry custom field that asks if they would like to sign up for an activity with a drop down of the values yes and no. The value yes is set to correspond to category Thursday. However, at no point is the guest given the option to choose between Golf and Spa.

Any chance you can help?

I'm afraid that what you're talking about has nothing to do with this thread.
Entry custom fields are only displayed on the entry form.
While what you seem to want to use based on your description are custom item fields which display on the product page so that the user can select them on the product page.

Thanks for your response. Why wouldn't it work? Because the product has variables? What i would rather do is just have an entry custom field for activites with a drop down with the activity choices. I've tried associating a category to an entry custom field, and it just defaults to a single product. Can you give a step by step and some screen shots? Thank you.

You're talking about variants but entries don't have variants, only products do.
And you can only assign custom item fields to categories of products, not entry fields.
To create custom item fields for a category of products, simply create one with the menu Display>Custom fields, select the table "item" and then the category you want it for in the categories listing area of the custom field. That's basically it. It will display automatically on the product page of all the products of that category.
