How to display categories images on the Frontpage

I want my shop front page will look different then rest of it. So only what i want to display are categories images with titles.
Could somebody tell me how to do it?

I think that you can do it by setting the options "Type of layout" to DIV and "Type of item layout" to image and title through "Hikashop->Display->Content menus->'Your category listing'"
