T-Shirt with Name on back option?

We're working on a t-shirt store with each t-shirt having the standard options; size and color. We're also needing the optional option of adding a name on back of the t-shirt, and if this option is chosen to put a name on back of the shirt it's an extra $6.

Looks like in the Business edition it's possible to add the "Add you name" text field we're needing, and is it possible to charge extra for that field?

I think that you can create a new product, for example: "Name Back" with a price of 6€, add this product as an option to your products.

Then create a custom field in the table "Item" and type "Text".

By this way, when the customer select the option "Name back", the product is more expansive and he can enter the name wanted.

We would need to prevent customers from just typing in their name, not choosing the "Name Back" option, and proceeding through checkout. With this solution will it be possible for the customer to enter their name in the custom Item>Text field without being required to choose the "Name Back" option as well?

Awesome. Last question! With the "Name Back" being a $6 product instead of a custom field, would the "custom field in the table "Item" and type "Text"" be able to pull the Yes value of "Name Back" option?

No the custom field display limit can be applied only on other custom fields.

Thank you. We would need to prevent the customer from entering their name and checking out without choosing "Yes" from the Name Back option, so looks like that wouldn't work for us. I'm meeting with the client this afternoon and will go over our options.
