Problem with PayPal module

I am trying to use the PayPal module but during my testing I receive the following error:

No payment methods found

I have checked the documentation and have followed it, however I cannot find what would be causing this error message. I have been fighting this for about a month and have finally decided to ask for help :).

Would anyone no why I am receiving this error message and what to do to fix itÉ

That's a screenshot of the checkout. I would need a screenshot of the options screen of your PayPal plugin.
It should look like that:

You have restricted your PayPal plugin to the Alberta zone. It means that if the address of the user is not in Alberta, the payment plugin won't display.
That point 5 of the FAQ on that problem:

Remoe the zone restriction and that should help.

I removed the zone restriction but am still receiving the error. I have checked all points in document but still cannot resolve issue.

OK, I see in the price field that you have $ $. That's not normal. You should have USD $.
That means that you changed the currency code of your currency. Because of that, the PayPal plugin does not recognize the currency anymore as a supported currency.
If you change that code to a non 3 letters code, that code won't be understood by payment plugins and thus you won't see the on your checkout with that currency. If you want to change the display of prices so that it doesn't use the code but the symbol of the currency, please change the format option of the currency and leave the default value in the currency code.
