Proceed to Checkout function

My development site: silverconnection.cloudaccess.net/

When a customer adds an item to the cart, for example the item at silverconnection.cloudaccess.net/index.p.../category_pathway-16 is added to the cart, I'm quite certain that at one time during my development that after selecting Add to Cart next to an item, the page would then display a Proceed to Checkout button next to the item.

I currently have the Cart module displayed in the left column, however I would also like to have this function presented next to the item once it is added to the cart rather than selecting Proceed to Checkout in the cart module. Is there such a feature?

Hi there,

There is the "After a product is added to the cart" in System>Configuration>Checkout which allow you to determine what action follow and add to the cart.
Test the popup display (or the other solutions) and tell me if it fits your needs

I must have had that set to Always go to the checkout to begin with then I had changed it to Always stay on the same page. Just seemed different than I thought. Thanks again.
