Display Product Lists in price order?

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I've had a good search for answers and am getting nowhere so far. So... How (if it's possible) can Product Listing pages be set to display products within a category in price ascending or descending order, i.e. cheapest or most expensive first? I've been asked to order all products throughout a site in 'cheapest first' order, but can't find how it's done. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Cheers,
Frank

Hi Frank,

I think that you'll just have to :
- Go to "Hikashop->Displau->Content menu->'Your product listing menu'"
- Set the "Ordering field" to product sales for example

Hope this will help you.

Thanks Mohamed,
That's where I was trying to set it but there isn't a 'by price' selection in the list :( It was worth another look though.
Thanks for your input; all suggestions welcomed.

At the moment I'm having to go through each category and manually re-order the products; what a pain, there are loads of products! Hopefully there's a straightforward (or perhaps not so straightforward) way to order the lists automatically by ascending or descending price value.

Thanks again for the suggestion.
Anyone else? :)

Sorry I didn't saw that we can't set the ordering listing by price so I think that you'll maybe find your answer there .

No problem, and thanks! I've just looked at that thread (frustrating that I couldn't find the thread yesterday...) and applied the changes to the core file. It works perfectly!
Thanks again for your help :)
