Shipping based on length and weight

hi there,

I have come across a small problem in regards to Shipping..

some courier companies charge a different fee for items that exceed a certain length.

for example >2 meters

is there a way to incorporate in the manual shipping module additional fields for length?

also.. being able to use the weight & QTY properties as well..

for example ,

2.5 Meter rail
.500 grams

if item [length] > 2.00000 Meters and weight < 5000 grams then $30.00 (shipping)

therefore 10 x 2.5M Rails = $30.00 (shipping)

something like this.

the 'Uses price per product' function does not allow for this. nearly , but not quite.
