Product display problems after migration/upgrade

I've recently migrated our test site from J1.5.2x to J2.5.7
Hikashop V2.0.0

Most seems to be working, a few cosmetics to sort out, but I am unable to get products to display properly.
Browse Our Shop - Displays ok
Category Listing - Displays ok

Clicking on a product item in the category listing brings up nothing.
I've tried changing modules to no avail, and have now reset them to be
the same as the old J1.5.2x site, (which is still available to view)~

Please can anyone help?

Working J1.5 site : www.pokeintheeye.co.uk/brspools
Testing J2.5 site : pokeintheeye.co.uk/brspools25/jupgrade/

Hi,

Are you sure that you have well configured the content menus and modules ? (& associated modules)
Can you give us some screenshot of your menus - modules configurations ?

I hope these are the screenshots you need Xavier - the settings are as they were on the J1.5 site. I've tried changing them, but to no avail. If you need access, I can give you access to the control panel.

Hi,

The product pages display on your website... See here for example:
pokeintheeye.co.uk/brspools25/jupgrade/i.../category_pathway-58
The only problem I can see, is that the content module is not configured properly and display on the product page when I suppose that you don't want to have it displayed on the product page.
We would need a screenshot of the hikashop options and the joomla options of your module to tell you what could be the problem.

Hi Xavier - the flow should be as follows:
click on Browse our shop - categories display is ok
then - for example
click on Swimming Pools (46) this displays OK
click on Heatwave Insulated Panel Pool Kits Standard 1.2metre deep (7) this
displays OK

the problem starts now

Click on one of the products and the 'Hikashop Content Module' still
displays in full
with the individual product details below. This should display only the
individual product and 'You may also want to add...' (if applicable.)

This is how it works on pokeintheeye.co.uk/brspools (a J1.5 site),
but I cannot get it
to display this way on J2.5

The screenshots I think you need are on the post above.

There is no screenshot of the hikashop options of your module, nor any screenshot of the joomla options of your module.

All I can see is a listing of menus, a listing of modules and some options of the configuration of HikaShop.

Hi Nicolas - pardon the ignorance, but which module do you need the screenshots for - is it the HikaShop Content Module?

Presuming it is, I hope this is what you require!

Thank you for your time.

Hi,

Have you the "HikaShop Content Module" displayed for the option "Modules under the product page" in HikaShop > Configuration > Display ?
If yes, remove it.

Xavier, I don't think that's the problem. All module display oftions here are set to 'No'.

If I disable the Content Module altogether, it does not show the product.

The problem is that this module is published.
You should unpublish it and instead, you should edit your menu (id 51) via the menu Display->Content menus and enable that module in the "associated modules" option of your menu.

Thanks Nicolas - it works.
I now need to work out again how to show 'You may also want to add...' where appropriate. I will let you know if I need help with this.
It's strange that these seem to be the only settings not transferred during migration and then upgrade!
