ordering without login or registering account

Hi,

i would like to know if it's possible to propose to customer to select his ordering process ?
i mean to ask him if:
1. he already have an account and to log-in
2. he's new and can create a new account
3. to order without log-in/registering

all three possibilities i need to propose to my customers.

Hi,

You can do that by setting the option "registration" to "no registration" in the configuration.
So you will have both 1 and 3 on the checkout. And you can add a link to the registration form of joomla in order to handle user registration.

It's not ideal but that's the only solution until we have the possibility to let the user select what he wants within HikaShop in the future.

in case i setup no registration, does it mean that order is on the fly and therefore the address is not stored ? because i would need the customer's address in order to later invoice him.

The address is stored in the order but not linked to any user account in that case.
