Hi,

When we go to a product URL and add &affiliate_id=120 (a first affiliate) we do go to the product page and the click is registered but on top of the page this error appears:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/repdon/public_html/trancewerk.nu/administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/user.php:21) in /home/repdon/public_html/trancewerk.nu/plugins/system/hikashopaffiliate/hikashopaffiliate.php on line 57

What can we do about this?
I am trying to configure the affiliate system, activated the plugin, etc.

Please advice.
Kind regards,
Maurice

Hi,

Are you using the last version of HikaShop ? (2.0)
I can't find anything which could send an output stream on line 21 of the class user.

Hi Jerome,

No, I did not upgrade yet. Have to do that in the test environment first.
I'm still on v.1.6.0.

It still would be nice if the problem could be solved in this version too, because my first affiliate is waiting and I guess it will take me another two weeks before I can upgrade.

Kind regards,
Maurice

Hi,

The line 21 of the class user in HikaShop 1.6.0 is

if(empty($data[$type.'_'.$id])){
I am really sure that it can't be the source of the problem except if the class as been modified.

Did you modified this file ? What do you have in the line 21 of your class user file ?

Hi Jerome,

No, I didn't change anything in that file. I have the exact same code.
However I saw that after each line of code an empty line was added. That is strange and this usually happens when you upload a file via FTP in textmode instead of binary mode.

How could this have happened? I installed HikaShop via the Joomla installer and I do NOT use the FTP layer. Weird.

I re-uploaded and overwrote the user class file (in binary FTP mode) and now the problem has vanished.
So it's been solved.

Thank you for you input which made me investigate that file.
Kind regards,
Maurice
