Joomla 1.5.26 to 2.5.8

Hi Nicolas, it's been a while.

I finally have some free time and want to migrate my Joomla 1.5.26 site (currently running Hikashop 1.5.5 Commercial) to Joomla 2.5.8.

I'm planning to use SP-Upgrade to do the migration. My questions:

1) Should I update Hikashop to the latest version first? (probably yes)
2) Can I upgrade Hikashop from 1.5.5 to the latest version directly or will intermediate steps be required?
3) Will SP-Upgrade properly handle Hikashop table migration?

My site is working very well and I hate to change it, but can't stay on J1.5.26 forever.

Hi,

1. I think it's better to update HikaShop after. Because I don't know if SP-Upgrade support all our possible new tables.
2. You can upgrade directly to the latest version.
