Hello. In my country none of the hikashop payment methods works. So it would be nice to move the buyer from the checkout form (login/register) to another page, where there still will be information about the purchase (quantity, price, etc) but instead of default checkout page, the consumer will se, for example, a Contact form (e.g. FoxContact), where he'll have to fill in the form (address, telephone, email, etc) and one of our couriers is contacting him.

So, is there any way to do that?

Thanks and regards.

Hi,

You can use the normal checkout for that.
Just remove the "payment" view from the checkout workflow option of the Checkout tab of the configuration. That way, there won't be any payment made during the checkout and it will send you and the user an email at the end of the checkout with all the information about the order so that you can then contact the user for the payment.

Ok, next question.

How can I make information about new orders to be sent on the email. I can see the tab "orders" where there's information about the order, and I need the same information to be sent on a email (for the sake of security and comfort, since I have to appoint a person to manage the orders).

Is there any way to do that? Ty.

That's already done automatically by the system. There is nothing to do.
If you don't get the emails, it means that the email options of the joomla configuration or the email options of the hikashop configuration are not correct and you should check them with your hosting company.
