Credit system for Hikashop

Hi,

Are there any plans to have credit system within Hikashop?

Typically customer would have some money on his Hikashop account that he can use towards paying goods from e-store. It would also be possible to adjust customer credit (i.e. when he sells something back to the store) from the back office.

Would it be possible to combine alpha points + cash within one payment (i.e. if the buy something which cost more than their current credit they can pay the rest with standard payment options)?

Ok I finally got around to try and test the Hikashop / Alpha Points (1.5.13 - as I am still Joomla 1.5 User) integration and here are my comments:

a) When an order is created it would be a very good idea to provide order id in the description field of the alpha point log entry
b) Shipping cost is not covered by alpha points even if shipping = YES in AlphaUserPoints plugin
c) When the shipping cost is free and total cost of purchase is 0 (i.e. if I cover all of my payment with Alpha Points) the end result is that the Alpha Points are not substracted after purchase.

Any idea how to sort those three things?

See my replies:

a) Without such reference, it's very difficult to discern / audit points spent. In my case points = in store credit so it's quite important to know on what / how it was spent.

b) Exactly. And it's not working. I.e. I have 1000 points, buy something for 500 and shipping cost 120. In the end shipping cost is not paid by points. (you'll see my configuration below)

c) This was on my test environment and I was / am on 2.0 there for some quite time (I can provide you with credentials if needed via PM). The configuration is:

1) Why not? I don't want to create coupons to further confuse customers. If they have credit with us it's up to them how they want to spent it (shipping cost or goods or whatever).

2) It was Western Union Payment Plugin (with shipping cost set to zero) that I use to "masquerade" as store pick-up option.

3) Also, there seems to be problem with how alpha user points interacts with the free shipping cost.

Example:

1 point = 1 crown
Free shipping for order >= crowns

Customer makes order of 2700 crowns, uses his 2350 points to pay for it and does not qualify for free shipping (although he should).

Are you also looking at the points not being substracted problem?
