Make filter work with the price

Hello! I've got the problem and simply dont get what to do.

My default currency is BYR (belarusian rubble), the price I set in USD and on the product page both are displayed. Its ok. The price in the product listing is displayed like that : 1,141,500 BYR ($100 USD).

Now I want to set up a filter of price which is connected with the BYR price.

The USD to BYR rate is 8,600, so 1 dollar = 8,600 BYR.

The filter type is diapason, from 100 BYR to 10000000 BYR. But I want the coma separation between the millions, thousands and hundreds (like that 8,777,666) while dragging the cursor, for the sake of usability. But when i try to set up the max. value of (10,000,000) and the cursor step of (100,000) the filter disappears.

Maybe I set up wrong values for the rates. So, is there any way to do that?

And one more question :

Where I to change the "algorythm" of the email sent both to the costumer and me (owner, since all the emails are in "spam" folder of Gmail.

Hi,

It's not possible to add the coma "," because the filter work with the integer type to filter on a numeric value.

The problem will be the same with spaces. You will have to leave only the number in the input field of the filter.

Maybe I can edit some configuration file of the filter, so that to add in the algorithm "coma"? Is it possible? Or too complicated? I simply need this very bad, since it provides great usability, instead of 1000000.

I mean, maybe I can change not the php code exactly, but the way the outcome looks like?

Well. How can i make like that :

-the price in the diapason is in USD, but in the product-listing it is displayed in BLR.

No you should keep everything in BLR.

Could you do a screenshot of the options of the filter so that we can see how you configured it ?

With cursors you actually can't change the display of the price. If you use another type of filter, like dropdown for example, you will be able to choose the currency and the prices should display nicely in it.

Yes, with dropdown it works fine, but cursos is amazingly useful. I badly need the price filter to be of the cursos type. Is there really no way to edit the display? Even If I hire a web-developer?

If you hire a web developer, the sky is the limit ;)
You should tell him to look at the "display" function of the class hikashopCursorClass of the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/filter.php
