Falang language files

Hi
So now I have Hikashop set up in English I decided to add Russian.

I already had Russian (ru-RU) installed in the Language Manager so I could make regular menu pages on my site multilanguage in the normal Joomla way.

For Hikashop - I downloaded Falang then reinstalled Hikashop and then I went into Hikashop Configuration - Languages, and set:
Activate the edition of content in multiple languages: Yes
Translation published by default: Yes.
I then got the Russian file (Load the latest version from our server) but the Russian seems to stop above ;since 1.5.8 because the text after that is all in English. So the website in the Russian version still shows Add to wishlist in English rather than in Russian. I can get my Russian colleague to translate the rest of the text for me but I’m a little bit surprised and wonder if I don’t actually have the latest version?

I’m also wondering if the ;config - languages section (see text below) is a problem? I used Falang not Joomfish because Falang seems best for Joomla 2.5.6

;config - languages
LANGUAGES="Языки"
MULTI_LANGUAGE_EDIT="Активировать редактирование контента для нескольких языков"
INSTALL_JOOMFISH

I should mention that I’ve started to translate the product categories and that part is going really well - amazing, magnifique - so easy. Merci beaucoup!

Hi,

It's normal that the rest of the file is in English, no one shared the translation with us yet and we don't speak Russian. Feel free to do it with the "share" button of the language file edition popup if you translate some of the missing translations and we'll add your translations on our end :)

The ; lines should not be translated.

Thanks. I feared that the rest probably hadn't been translated yet. Right now I am only going to translate the Add to wishlist bit because that's the only bit I need at this stage of the project but if we do the rest I'll send you a copy.

I'm really glad I decided to try Hikashop. The first couple of weeks were tough but it's going well now. B)

p.s. just as well I didn't need to download Russian from: www.hikashop.com/en/download/languages.html - it's a Microsoft file - what about Mac users!
