Hi,

Did you have a error message during the installation ?

For what you have explained, you didn't do anything wrong.
Maybe you have some wrong permissions on some directories and HikaShop can't be updated.

I get the next error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/erextaza/domains/erextaza.nl/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/archive/tar.php on line 154

I saw that the extention was .tar
When i look in to it whit winrar i dont see folders that are online.
Can this be a update for joomla 2.5?

Hi,

If you have such message, it means that Joomla doesn't found the extracted package.
Did you well upload the extract package ?
You should have a directory, with all hikashop files and a "hikashop.xml" in that directory.
After that, if you give the directory to the installer, it would found files and install HikaShop.
Joomla would require reading access to the directory (and files).
