Postal rates for Scotland

Hi

need a little help with postal rates for Scotland and the Highlands.

I have a standard UK rate of £20 + VAT. But for some parts in Scotland it needs to be £25 + VAT.

The postcode for instance for one area is IV1 through to IV63 which is the Inverness-shire region. Idealy I would like to set the shipping per region such as Inverness-shire, Renfrewshire etc. Is this possible and if so how?

Just a little update.

I created 5 shipping charges as per the first screenshot and assigned the zones but when you add a product to the cart and select Caithness for instance the shipping rate does not update. The option does not even appear. They are all published and are also United Kingdom zones. The products do not have a any weights assigned and the Virtual Product box is ticked.

I really would appreciate some help with this as I cannot see an obvious reason for this not to work

So the shipping options will not update until they have created the account? I have hoped that one they selected an area as above the shipping option presented would be for Caithness only for instance? Is this possible?

Hi,

The shipping methods are displayed depending on the shipping address of the customer, what you can do is add another step on your checkout, the first on with: "login_address" and the second "coupon_shipping_payment".
By this way only the compatible shipping method will be displayed.
