Filter on user comments

2 questions.

Is it possible to do have a text filter include words in user comments?

Is it possible to ONLY allow users to see their own comments, and keep comments from other users hidden?

Hi,

I do not understand your first question.

About the second one, there is an option "Auto publish new comments" which would allow you to hide all comments even if there are submitted.
After that, you could override the view "vote | listing" is not to do not display comments of other users (it would require some PHP skills).

On my first question what I am looking for is a way to use the comments as a way for users to tag files with their own keywords. Then they could come back later to use a filter to search for their keywords.

The second question was related to that in that it would be best of other users could not see there comments / tagged keywords. But that is not as important as the ability to search on the text in the comments field.

Hi,

Well I think that's a totally different feature than the vote/comment which is included in HikaShop.
The feature would be possible but would require some specific development because it should use another tables.
Modifying the vote/comment system could be possible but it would not be possible to update HikaShop after that (update without loosing the modifications).
