Alpha Points breaking Checkout

While attempting to set up the Alpha points
and allow users to apply points to the order ...
It does not either show up at all ( even though plugin is enabled and Auto choose method OFF)
When can get to show, than the checkout process never finishes.

For those interested: In the Alpha Points Plugin options
Use virtual coupons IF set to YES will simply apply points without any options or
even see other payment methods, if you use any ...
OR at least that what it did for me...

During checkout,
We now have the points AND another payment showing.


The TOTALS on checkout page change..
With only having points active the totals show up as:
Total $84.90
Points discount $-85.00
Points used -85 Points
Final total $0.00


However NOW when you disable the Auto submit shipping and payment methods selection,
and have Virtual Coupons to set to NO within the AUP plugin.

Than you ONLY get:
Final total $84.90

EVEN though POINTS is selected, AND once you proceed points are used.
BUT the TOTAL is NOT updating to reflect like it does if you ONLY have points on:
Points discount $-85.00
Points used -85 Points
Final total $0.00

Why is this ?
