SH404sef retuning 404's on Hika Pages

Hi, a bit stuck on this.

I have just reactivated sh404sef on a working site and now it returns 404's on hikashop pages when clicked from the category - but not from the menu.

I found the FAQ's on this, and it suggested to go to Hidden Hikashop menu and press rebuild.

I noticed that I didnt have any menu items in the hidden Hikashop menu - but I do on other working websites, so I replicated what was there.

I have tried sh404sef with and without .htaccess file, to no avail. I have even downloaded site onto local server and the same behavior is displayed.

Any suggestions on this is greatly appreciated. I have similar running on several sites with no problem.

ok... problem solved.

  • I did a complete uninstall of sh404sef, and check all tables were removed in myphpadmin. Also removed all entries in redirection table.
  • Removed old .htaccess file.
  • Re-installed latest sh404sef and reconfigured.
  • Deleted cache.

All working again.
