Hi Joe,

Did you tried to reduce the "Number of columns" option of your product listing ? ("Hikashop->Display->Content menu->'Your Product listing'").

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

When you click on that link, you will arrive in the associated module options. In these options set the number of columns to 1.

Yes I know what you mean, but I think that you are not editing the good module.
Try to edit them one by one and see the result, but the module should be the menu associated module.

As I told, the associated module to the menu "Painting" had the option "Number of column" set to 3 instead of 1. (Associated products listing for category listing menu 245)

You should not change the associated module but simply change the number of columns of that associated module.
It's on that page of the backend:
www.website.com/dtp/administrator/index....odules&task=edit&cid []=133

for the painting menu. And you need to do the same for the other menus's associated modules.

at my main menu
i created a menu - HikaShop » Categories listing - Decorating
so am i right to say that all sub categories under this Decorating menu will follow the setting of Decorating?
i not sure why it will auto create an Associated modules - Associated products listing for category listing menu 277

side menu - for each sub categories
i also created a menu - HikaShop » Categories listing - Nursery
same thing it will create another Associated modules.

so when i click on Decorating - Nursery it show (Decorating) setting
but when i click on the side menu it show another setting.

the problem is that for some categories i need to display in 2 columns and some i need 3 or 1. so i not sure how to go about it.
and also i try to remove Associated modules but it can't be remove.

Please advice me fast as i need to get the store up soon

thank you
Joe

The associated modules display the products inside the categories, so it's in the associated modules that you have to change the number of columns and not in the menu options directly.

Menu categories listing = number of columns to display categories
Associated module = number of columns to display products of the categories.

You must not remove the associated modules, but edit their settings.

I just tried to change the number of columns for the display of the products inside "decorating" menu, and it's working fine. Changed from 3 to 1 in the associated module.
