multiple users with the same mail

Hi

I bought the bussiness hikashop component is installed and works perfectly, but I need multiple users to have the same mail. In joomla I've solved user.php on modifying the file /libraries/datables/table/user.php but users with repeated mail, do not appear as hikashop customers, how I can fix it? I know that it is wrong for multiple users to use the same mail, but in my case it is necessary

Hi,

Without more information about your Joomla modification it would be difficult to answer you.

HikaShop could by synchronize with the joomla users, it would be use the "joomla user id" as identifier and not the email.
The "user_email" in HikaShop does not have restriction in the database, so you would be able to set several time the same email for different users.

But it is possible that modifications in HikaShop core would be required. It's not something which is generally possible so, some security check could be present in HikaShop.

I think I know where the bug. I could register a user with the same mail using hikashop registration
I imported users using fabrik and I imported from joomla_user table, I'll try to import table hikashop_users.
So it could work?

Hi,

You could import new users in the table hikashop_users, you just have to let the user_id be incremented and set the user_cms_id to the joomla user id.
There are few columns in this table so it should be fine.
