Test & Purchase

Good day,

I have been learning about Hikashop (very cool product) but I have run into two issues when working on a friends site ( www.shinepals.com/ ). I am using the Authorize.net SIM and I believe it is not set to test mode.

1) When I add a product to the shopping cart, I get a Payment Form page that shows "Test Mode is ON". I looked in the forums, and see that others have had the same issue, but I don't see the resolution to stop this display.

2) If I add a product to the cart and do not navigate away from the Payment form page, in about a minute, the order is submitted. I receive a confirmation email as well as see it in the Hikashop configuration under orders. Why is the order being submitted even though the payment button is not being clicked on the Payment Form?

Thank you for your help for a struggling newbie.

Hi,

1. Can you show me how did you configured your authorize.net payment methode through screenshots ?

2. What is the "order status" of these orders ? ("Hikashop->Orders->orders")

Thanks.

Thank you for your response. I have attached a screen shot of the Authorize.net plugin (with the "Login ID for Authorize.net" and "Transaction key for Authorize.net" values removed). The value for the Authorize.net url is: secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll , and I see that on purchase flow that the purchaser is directed to that page.

All orders are in a "created" state.

Hi,

Regarding the test mode, it's possible that you have the test mode option of your authorize.net account activated. You should check on that.

Orders are created the moment you are redirected to the payment platform and you also get a first email that the order has been created and needs to be paid.
However, if the orders are not confirmed, it means that HikaShop is not receiving the notifications from authorize.net at the end of the payment and thus it cannot confirm the orders and send the second email which confirms the orders. So you simply have to go to the end of the payment to have the order confirmed and the second email sent. If you don't want to send the first email, you can unpublish it via the System->Emails menu in the Business edition.
