custom translation for payment method / checkout

Hi,

As one of the payment options I am using is "Payment in Cash". As there is no such plugin available I was adviced last year to just use existing payment plugin and rename it. I am using Western Union plugin as my "Payment in Cash" payment plugin.

No the problem is that the checkout message after the order is completed is really confusing. It is asking the client to transfer the money and provide order number as a reference in the transfer. This is standard translation Hikashop has / uses.

Is there a way:

a) either to force different / custom translation just for the processing of that payment plugin
b) write my own checkout message for that payment plugin.

Would not it be better if you provided collect on delivery / store pickup / whatever plugin within the hikashop? For those folks that operate store + e-commerce site it's quite a common occurance for order to be made via web site and goods picked up in store.

Hi,

I add it on the TODO list.
Actually you just have to edit the view "..._end.php" of the plugin to change the text, and add the translation in the override file.
